Well, although it may seem a little backwards, I guess I'll start at the end and post my newest piece first, and in the upcoming posts I'll put up a few of my older pieces as well as newer ones as I make 'em - along with some thoughts on art and love.
Like much of my latest works this is based on a little poem I wrote for my wife. What I really like about these latest word pieces is that while they are personal they can also be read in a very universal way, and this illustrates one of the great lessons learned by being in Love - that to be in Love with one is really to be in Love with all. So to me I think these pieces, while based on my relationship with my darling wife, are really for everyone and hopefully everyone can see them and think of the sweethearts in their lives (and maybe even see the sweet hearts in everyone else!).
